Great Snippet

I am reading a novel called "Design Flaws of the Human Condition" which a friend of a friend of mine wrote. In it I came accros a great short paragraph and wanted to share:
"... he was born on the Lower East side while it was still Lower East side before it went out one day like a surly adolescent and came back with its nose pierced and announced that from now on it would only answer to the name "East Village".

Wii and EA Sports

I am a big Nintendo Wii fan. Ever since I played Wii for the first time, I knew it was going to be a huge success. Hence, I put my money where my mouth was, and bought Nintendo stock, NTDOY, at $32.50. Now the stock almost doubled, $63 as of Friday.

I even posted on this blog about how Wii was changing the rules. See my March 18th posting. "Wii brought the entertainment back to gaming. PS and XBOX went for more computing power, better graphics, Nintendo went for more fun."

In the same posting I also mentioned that the biggest challenge for Wii was the ability for Game developers to come up with creative games. Here is my suggestion to EA sports:

Invent the leg brace where the player can put the WiiMote (for those non Wii savvy out there:WiiMote is the Wii Remote controller), and then play soccer by kicking and running in the middle of living room. FIFA is one of the most popular EA Sports games, bring it to the Wii.
