Just got back from windsurfing in Alacati Cesme. It was awesome.
Below is the map of the area. The light green sections show the shallow places. These areas are no deeper than 1 metre. The red arrow shows the wind direction. Constant 10-15 knot winds all day long. Sometimes in the middle gusts go up to 20-25 knots.
The blue line shows the typical course people go back and forth.
The yellow triangle area is the kite surfing area. Unfortunately, I did not get to kite surf this time.
Stayed at a hotel where the blue square is on the left, it was called Alacati Beach Resort. Brand new hotel, and very comfortable with A/C and satellite TV in each room.
For fun, zoom into the red square on the right :-)
Hang Loose!

New Airbus 330-200 rocks!
They finally made it! This is something I have been wishing it existed for ages: Watching what is underneath or in front of the plane on the seat back screen.
This morning I was flying back to London from Istanbul. As we were about to land, I woke up, and was flipping through the channels. One channel had many rooftops, and they were moving in the same direction with the plane. All of a sudden, I was too excited. Could this be true?
As the landing gear opened with a loud thud, suddenly the camera stopped showing the rooftops, and the landing strip appeared on the screen. It started showing what was in front of us. We got closer and closer, and then we landed on that strip. It was really exciting.
Thank you Airbus! The new planes look great.
