Internationalize or somebody else will

A while ago there was an article on TechCrunch about how Twitter is a success, however it is not internationalized, and local markets are coming with their own versions.

Today Nolyo has launched for the Turkish market. It is a very similar microblog/messaging platform. Nolyo? is a pun on "Ne oluyor?", which means "what is going on?" in Turkish.

Nolyo, currently supports posting messages from web, GTalk, and via email. However, very soon it will also support SMS and MSN messenger.

Nolyo subscribers also get a badge for syndicating their latest posts on the Internet. The badge can be pasted on any web page as well as Yonja.com, leading Turkish online social network, user profiles. I already put my badge on my blog, look at the right side <----.

Now I have two public URLs, you can follow me at nolyo.com/emre and find more about me at yonja.com/emre.

Virtual KVM

Now this is cool.
Synergy is an open source virtual KVM switch. Basically, using only one mouse and keyboard, one can control up to 16 different computers. The only catch is that each computer has to have their own screen. I just started using this at work for my two computers. So, now using a single mouse and keyboard I am commanding three screens.
Check it out
http://synergy2.sourceforge.net

Soon, if someone builds some sort of VNC component into this, then not only one can use a single screen for all, but also can actually start dragging and dropping windows from one computer's screen to another one's.
