Turkey focused Facebook App: Skor Toto

Skor Toto is a game where the players can make predictions for each week's Turkish Premier League football games, and get points for correct picks. Based on their predictions, the players can get 10 points for every score they predicted correctly and 3 points if they only predict the winner of the game.

Skor Toto is a combination of a game I used to play with my friends every football season and a government owned gambling game called Skor Toto where the players bet on the outcome of the game.

Our version of the game lasted the whole football season and there was only one winner at the end of the season. Every year, there were some late comers who wanted to play but did not have a chance in competing, because the others were already way ahead of them in points. This situation is rectified in Skor Toto, because it reports scores in multiple different dimensions: last week, last 3 weeks, and last 5 weeks. This way everybody has a chance in competing. Skor Toto also has two different grouping of scores: all players, or your friends. Therefore, every player will have 2 different ranking: one for those serious about their knowledge and want to compete with all Facebook users, and another for just among friends.
